Here is a description of all the player ranks.
Visitor
All new players get the "visitor" rank. They are able to interact with the world and have no prefix in front of their names in chat.
Member
Once someone plays on the server for a short while and the moderators decide that he is not a bot that is programmed to repeatedly ask for admin permissions, he will be given the "member" rank. Members are allowed to invite people to the server and moderator visitors. They have access to the following additional commands:
Artist
A player who displays exceptional building ability is given the title "Artist in Residence." Artists are given build permission in certain locations in the city in order to build decorations and buildings. As subjects of The Crown, artists receive no compensation for their work other than the required building materials, when necessary.
Envoy
The full title of the Envoy is "Royal Envoy and Minister of Shenanigans and Spectacles." The Envoy has several related responsibilities:
City administrators have all the abilities of moderators, and they can also build on land inside the city that is not rented by other players. They can also create and manage home and shop plots, and have other abilities that can be used to help keep the city running.
